Took a long time to grow it outside. I watered it, kept in indirect sunlight for almost 3 months and then it started to sprout. Once it got 6 inches tall and had enough leaves, I'd pull off a few every few days and my cat'ls went wild over it. They'd smell it from inside the house and would follow me around meowing for it lol. A lot of work and waiting, when buying already ground catnip is so much easier.

I planted these in a bunch of starter pots in my kitchen, hoping to grow some catnip to amuse our cat. Out of all those seeds, eventually about 10 or 12 actually sprouted. I nurtured them according to the instructions, but after many weeks, they just weren't growing anymore -- they got to be about 1/2" to 1" tall, and then simply stopped getting any bigger. I tried fertilizing them, I tried putting them outside in the sun -- nothing helped. They didn't die, but they just didn't grow. I finally threw them all out....

Good stuff, cats love this.

Planted 2 weeks ago, but still not spouting. It might not be warm enough, so I am still hopeful something will spout soon
