How does this work on canvas? I have 1 leather pair, and 1 canvas Chucks that i am looking to protect and waterproof.

I've never used this product on canvas. However, the manufacturer's write-up on the website indicates that it can be used on canvas. I've only used it on suede, but I've never had a problem with it turning the suede a different color and it does work to repel water.

Can I use this on light colored unfinished leather?

I used this product on my brown/light brown color boots and it stained and discolored them. They’re all patchy now. I wouldn’t.

It may contain silicone. Only the Non-aerosol version specifically states that it does not contain silicone.
