Très robustes, très chaudes et confortables! Je ne les recommanderais pas pour autant comme chaussure à enfiler pour aller chercher le courrier (ce ne sont pas des chaussons), mais en randonnée elles donnent un sentiment de sécurité et d’invulnérabilité très rassurant!

I tested the Columbia Bugaboot III during a full week of walking around Tromsø and other Nordic locations in deep winter, and they performed impressively well overall. Positives • Very warm and comfortable: Even after long days outside, my feet stayed comfortable without any pressure points. • Sizing tip: I went one size up from my usual sneaker size to make room for thick socks, and that worked perfectly. • Excellent insulation in deep snow: My feet stayed warm even when trudging through more than a foot of accumulated snow. (I wore waterproof pants that fit snugly over the boot, which helped keep snow and water from entering from the top.) • Good grip on fresh snow: The traction is noticeably better than regular sneakers on snowy paths. • Great when paired with crampons: On ice, these boots alone aren’t enough, but with crampons they become a reliable setup for all icy, snowy, and slushy surfaces. Negatives • Moisture buildup over long use: If you keep the boots on for many hours, sweat can accumulate inside because it doesn’t wick out easily. If you don’t dry them properly, your feet can feel cold the next time you wear them. • Requires drying time: I had to place the boots next to a heater every evening to ensure they dried thoroughly for the next day. Even with merino wool socks, moisture buildup can still make your feet feel cold during long outdoor sessions. Overall These boots are a solid choice for winter travel and deep‑snow adventures. They’re warm, comfortable, and dependable — just make sure to size up and dry them well between uses. Bewertung der Columbia Bugaboot III Herren‑Winterstiefel Ich habe die Columbia Bugaboot III während einer ganzen Woche in Tromsø und anderen nordischen Regionen getestet. Bei täglichem, stundenlangem Laufen durch Schnee, Matsch und eisige Temperaturen haben sie insgesamt sehr gut abgeschnitten. Positive Punkte • Sehr bequem und warm: Auch nach langen Tagen draußen blieben meine Füße angenehm warm und ohne Druckstellen. • Passform-Hinweis: Ich habe eine Nummer größer als meine normalen Sneaker gewählt, um Platz für dicke Socken zu haben – das war genau richtig. • Warm selbst in tiefem Schnee: Meine Füße blieben warm, selbst wenn ich durch mehr als 30 cm tiefen, angesammelten Schnee gelaufen bin. (Ich trug wasserdichte Hosen, die eng über den Schaft passten, sodass kein Schnee von oben eindringen konnte.) • Guter Grip auf frischem Schnee: Die Traktion ist deutlich besser als bei normalen Sneakern. • Perfekt in Kombination mit Steigeisen: Auf Eis reichen die Stiefel allein nicht aus, aber mit Steigeisen sind sie absolut zuverlässig auf Eis, Schnee und matschigen Wegen. Negative Punkte • Schweiß sammelt sich bei langem Tragen: Wenn man die Stiefel viele Stunden am Stück trägt, kann sich innen Feuchtigkeit ansammeln, da sie nicht gut nach außen entweichen kann. Wenn man sie nicht gründlich trocknet, fühlen sich die Füße beim nächsten Einsatz schnell kalt an. • Trocknen ist Pflicht: Ich musste die Stiefel jeden Abend neben die Heizung stellen, damit sie bis zum nächsten Tag komplett trocken waren. Selbst mit Merinowollsocken kann Feuchtigkeit die Füße auskühlen, wenn man lange draußen ist. Fazit Die Bugaboot III sind eine sehr gute Wahl für Winterreisen und tiefe Schneeverhältnisse. Warm, bequem und robust – man sollte nur daran denken, sie gut zu trocknen und im Zweifel eine Nummer größer zu wählen.
