Where does the water come from.does it connect to a water source?

I connected to the supply line for my dishwasher...it comes with a valve & quick connect to (I think) 1/2" line.

We changed filters and it wont stop beeping or lights flashing. How do you get it to stop?

Check the inside base of the unit. Make sure it is completely dry. If there is, the mechanical and electric water sensors may need to be reset.

how many amps does the heater pull

Less than 15, because that's what my line is rated for...I would ask the vendor for that info.
