I purchased this to recoat my 2006 jimny that was treated 7 years ago. It has held up very well and I believe it has preserved the vehicle well. I used a schultz spray can powered by a small compressor. This time I will use brush and the spray method. Waxoil provides a very sticky coating that impregnates any existing rust and stabilises it. Not the nicest of jobs however I would recommend carrying out this work in warm or hot weather as the oil becomes very thin and is easy to apply, you can warm it in water. Also if the car body is warm it seeps into all those nooks and crannies. Looking forward to topping mine up come summer and getting a few more years from the jimny. A final note do wear eye protection.

just to say this is its best of them all so that's why it costs a we bit more but its worth it when you coat the underside of your car you don't see anything and some think its a waste of time but its not it will protect your car and slow any rust down, some think that washing the car keeps it good well it keeps it clean but the wax oyl works away protecting the parts you don't see and would recommend it; if your going to use this stuff its best to heat it up and it will go like cooking oil and when you spray it on it solidifies and coats the metal and job done

A well known product still very worthwhile for under wheel arches and sills but ideally you want to redo it every autumn well before wet and salty conditions start to be the norm. For info - The contents are like a blob of soft wax and need to be heated in a bucket of very hot water for 30 minutes or so. I actually set the can on a workshop woodstove but that is probably not recommended as it would be flammable should it spill. You could also use thinner I suppose. Once runny it can be sprayed reasonably easily you might even get away with an empty kitchen cleaner trigger spray. It's a messy job expect to get it on hands clothes and probably face no matter how careful you are.
