I was surprised when I got my licorice because it says it weighs one poun, so I thought it would be much larger. However, I tasted it, and was happily satisfied. It’s real soft and chewy, with a true black licorice flavor. The flavor is a bit intense, so I’m going to take a real long time to eat it, as I want to enjoy every bite slowly as possible.

I have ordered this item several times over the last few years. It has always, until this last bag, been enjoyable and tasty. The last bag that I received a few days ago has many pieces in it that are soft and taste terrible. I have not experienced this in any previous order of this item. It is not something anyone could consume as it is. This is too bad as I now feel I can’t order it again.

I really like this sugar-free licorice. I like that it's not in a fancy package and the flavor is very good. The hardness is sometimes not consistent. Since I don't want the pieces to be soft, I put them in a container with a lid that's not air tight and in a few days they've hardened right up. The only problem with their packaging is the bag doesn't have 16 ounces in them, it's always 15 point something. I've weighed all 4 of the deliveries I've received and they were all just shy of 1 pound. That's irritating.
