My bird was being afflicted with allergies that made his skin itch and he would pull out his feathers. The feathers he did have were almost all black with stress bars. As the allergy abated he started to molt. I bought this hopefully but with a wait and see attitude. I have put some in his water every morning for the last three months. He has grown and is still growing in his feathers. No more bald spots or stress bars. The condition of the feathers is great.

This product is wonderful for birds that are going through a heavy moult because it gets them through quickly. Highly Recommend!

Junk!!! The first jar I bought worked great. The second jar is a completely different formula that has zero of some of very important ingredients that were in the original formula! I would give it zero stars if I could. This formula does nothing for a birds feathers.

Started using this product in late November, and my society finch, who had no tail feathers, is growing a full array of feathers. Over the last three years, she would always lose them and finally they weren’t growing back at all for the last year. Very happy this product exists.

This definitely worked. It took about 3 months for her tail to completely grow back. I have a society finch that came to me with almost no tail feathers (not sure why) and now she has a beautiful full tail. I was also giving this to her with powdered kelp.

My finches are finicky eaters and won'the always take it, so I switch adding it to their soaked seed (they are off sprouts at the moment), or their chopped, boiled egg. Their feathers are beautiful after a molt or after a finch has been feather-picked by another. It works better with a tiny drop of vitamin D3. It also seems to calm itchy skin. Use this instead of Ecotrin Liquid Skin and Plumage, because they might LOVE that, as mine did and it gave my birds a greasy appearance.

I've been trying different feather vitamin supplements for my lovebird, to help her recover from some problems she's been having growing in new feathers. All the vitamins I've tried previously she just plain would not eat, no matter how I mixed it into her food. The Feather Fast is a white powder that I mix into her morning cooked oatmeal-banana dish. She loves eating the oatmeal with Feather Fast in it! I'm so relieved that she's eating it. I heartily recommend Feather Fast to anyone.

This product is meant to enhance the feathers of pet birds. I have seen some improvement since using the product. This vendor was very responsive to my questions and I would deal with them again
