This is very tasty! Highly recommended! The kit is pretty complete. Comes with some herb /spice to cook the rice, rice, and cooking paste. The only thing you really need is some protein and veg. I cook mine with chicken, cauliflower and string beans. It’s east to make and Comes out near restaurant quality. It really does. It is a bit spicy however. So, I have been adding more rice. For our family almost double amount of rice seems to work fine. This was a big hit the first time and remains popular with our family. I really recommend this highly!

Really tasty. I haven't tried many biryanis, but my whole family enjoyed this. I cooked with chicken thighs and extra garlic and 2 whole onions for two boxes. I topped with store bought fried onions. It made a lot more than I thought it would initially. Great for leftovers too. I look forward to trying the Lucknowi version of this brand.

it's definitely not an "Instant" 30 minute biryani. It takes work to soak and cook rice separately and layer everything together. However, it takes the guesswork out of flavoring and proportion or spices used in cooking. We didn't find it too hot, but the spices do create an acidic feel in your stomach. Use more rice or yogurt, etc to balance the spices. We won't be buying this again because it possibly contains MSG - Though the product doesn't explicitly list monosodium glutamate (MSG) as a standalone ingredient, the ingredients includes disodium guanylate and disodium inosinate, which are flavor enhancers that work with MSG to enhance taste. There's absolutely no need to include MSG in a flavor rich, slow cooked dish like a biryani. .
