Easily connects to my iPhone. Bright screen that’s easy to read in sunshine. Simple-ish set up .. by that I mean the ZeppOS has a lot going on, I’m finding stuff to switch on or set up almost daily. Would love for it to have a ChatGPT or similar Ai 🤖 to integrate with my iPhone and PC. More a simplicity thing than a downside. Battery life, one of the reasons I started looking for a new smartwatch. Holy crow, I’m on Day 7 on a single charge; I have the realtime health monitoring, sleep monitoring, heart rate, blood oxygen, notifications from my email/calendar/messages all running 24/7 … the watch is currently at 36% battery 😳. 7 days, not anywhere near having to throw it on the charger, running all the integrations. I’m shocked. I do not believe marketing hype, especially around battery life, but in this case I’m happy to be proven wrong. A few things that could use a little work: 1: night time brightness. I’ve woken myself up a couple of times just moving my arm in my sleep. I can’t seem to turn the active motion ON at night. 2: being able to mute notifications going to the watch. SPAM requires zero notifications on the watch. I tried selecting a group of people but no luck. I’ll keep checking when I have time to dig into the workings of it. 3: watch faces and categories; yes there are many but they’re kind of all similar and not well organized in the app. Would be nice to have Classic/Casual/Sport organization and in those some clearly distinct designs and functionalities. 4: last thing, and this is just a design nice-to-think-about, thicker/wider watch straps. I’m not a big beefy guy by any means, but maybe designing the watch to take 28mm or 32mm straps. Maybe I just got used to looking at my Apple Watch for so long, but the visual flow between edge of case to watch strap is more appealing than the blocky, defined watch face to watch strap look. It’s a little thing but I work in visual arts and it’s just a “flow” interruption to my eye. 🤷🏻♂️
