Never thought of myself as an apron guy
This thing is awesome. the material is thick and heavy duty so I dont have to worry about burning myself. also it looks good almost like I belong in the kitchen, which I really dont. ;)

Professional grade really holds up
My husband has owned one for years- found the essential apron canvas good for weekly bbq and indoor cooking. PLUS there was a BIG size to accommodate. Washes very well and after years, like new. We got a regular essential for our (sr high) nephew for Xmas -- he was thrilled to have a grown-up apron.

Love and Hate this Apron...
This apron is amazing but am rating it low because of the crocking occuring from the cotton twill used for straps amd ties. My striped apron now has red orange spots all over it and it looks terrible. I still wear it becuse the quality is amazing. Actually gor two of these amd both are crocking all over the striped fabric. Suprised this passed any required testing for crocking. Do better with a $100 apron. Expected lasting look and did not get it.

Color Bleed Ruined It After One Wash
I’ve been a loyal Hedley & Bennett customer since purchasing my first apron 12 years ago. It has been my favorite, which is why I was so excited to purchase another. Unfortunately, after a single wash, the blue stripes bled all over the fabric and ruined the apron. This is incredibly disappointing—especially for a product that cost nearly $100 and is expected to hold up to everyday kitchen use.
