Elderberry + Vitamin C

We have two young children in elementary and preschool and they bring everything home. The past two years have been miserable as my older just has one cold after another and is basically sick for 5 months straight starting from October to February every year since being in school. And the Dr. basically said, deal with it, there is nothing we can do. So I tried everything, apple cider vinegar, zicam, honey, washing hands more, sterilizing the house, everything to prevent colds from spreading to all of us in the family in the most natural way possible, which the colds always did and we were just always miserable. This summer I read about Elderberry and was like, sure lets try it out. So I did! And we have not been sick (knock on wood) since August 2018 and is now the end of Feb 2019. We have tried three different kinds of Elderberry gummies as there are a lot of options out there and we prefer this one because most of the others contain zinc - which unfortunately due to our high intake of it before trying to ward off colds, now causes myself and my youngest to get small hand water blisters and my husband to start to lose his sense of smell/taste when we ingest high qtys of it - so we like this brand as it doesn't have zinc! So it works for us! And I will continue to use it. One thing I don't like is the high amount of extra sugar added to it, they are basically like eating candy, so not a huge fan of that, but the kids love them as they taste great! I would highly recommend this product as it has worked for our needs 100%.

As a teacher I am always looking for ways to keep myself ahead of the germs. Before we went into quarantine, one of my students mentioned that she took Elderberry gummies and she hadn't gotten a cold/sick in a few months and this was the brand she took. The gummies have a great raspberry flavor and are rather sweet. They have a ton of vitamin C which definitely helps the immune system. I had a cold before I started taking these, but it didn't last very long and I attribute it to taking these gummies every day. I've even started my husband on them and he loves their flavor too and even asks for them if I forget. Whether you're giving these to your children to beef up their immune systems before returning to school or taking them for yourself, they're a great investment for your health- in my opinion.

Update, I see that it now contains Propolis. This is my favorite Elderberry product and I love the fact that it contains Propolis, Echinacea, and Vitamin C. I believe it is the only Elderberry product that includes Propolis. According to Web MD, Propolis is a resin-like material made by bees from the buds of poplar and cone-bearing trees. Propolis is rarely available in its pure form. It is usually obtained from beehives and contains bee products. Bees use propolis to build their hives. Propolis seems to have activity against bacteria, viruses, and fungi. It might also have anti-inflammatory effects and help skin heal. Combine this with Elderberry, Echinacea, and Vitamin C, this is a great supplement to take to help boost your immune system. I hate taking pills and appreciate that this product is a great tasting gummy.

I am the world's worse about taking my daily vitamins. But that changed when we tried these gummies. And they taste great.

I debated on four or five stars for the item but ended on settling with five. With all the stuff going around lately, I picked up a whole bunch of bottles of this so everyone in the family can be taking them daily. They taste good, I like the mixture. But as with any supplement or home remedy we don’t 100% no the effectiveness or truthfulness of the item. That being said, none of us have gotten sick yet and I’m an essential employee in a customer facing roll. Pros: 1. The claimed blend is an excellent immune boosting combo 2. Taste is great (almost tooo great) Cons: 1. I wish it was a longer supply, nobody is just looking to boost their immune system for a month. 2. There’s no definitive way to determine effectiveness or composition of item.

Anything that will benefit my immune response is worth taking. I do get a flu shot, but still nervous about COVID19. The flavor is great. The extra popolis and echinacea is highly recommended by a friend who studies holistic medicine. Elderberries (Sambuci fructus) have been shown in a number of studies to have significant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Multiple human and animal studies have supported the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of elderberry preparations and it has been used in natural medicine for hundreds of years.

These are delicious but NOT GOOD IF YOU HAVE AN OVERACTIVE BLADDER. Both herbs/vitamins are diuretics taking them together really made my bladder angry. Took me a week to recover. Just use with caution.

Love this product - it tastes good and it really works for immunity

These taste GREAT! But they would be even better if they had higher vitamin counts in it. I started taking it for Vitamin C & Iron specifically, but now I use it as a general vitamin, and have had to take separate Vitamin C & Iron supplements. That's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. But if the amounts in the gummies is enough for you, it's a 5 sar!
