This unit is awesome! Most importantly, we have awesome, soft water! Installation (I used PEX) was easy and nearly all tje special fittings you need come with the system. I do recommend drawing out your plan and - pro tip - put it all together and envision rhe flow and on/off valve activities BEFORE you tighten all the PEX crimps!

This system is so excellent and easy to use that when my first one needed to be rebedded I just ordered another one At a little more cost than the rebuild. I did rebed the old one myself and now I have two and my water is amazing! This system is excellent quality.

I bought the 72,000 gr unit for my home based on the recommendation of Aquasure Support. Installed by plumber and it seems to work perfectly, reduced hardness to nearly zero on hard municipal water. That said, the calculator they provide advises to set regeneration at ~7600 gallons based on size and water hardness. I have have never achieved more than ~4500 gallons before the water is hard again. I called support and they were super helpful, sent me a brand new resin tank after troubleshooting. Problem is I get the same exact result with the new tank - unless I set it to regen after 4000 gallons, the water returns to full hardness. I have used professional grade hardness tests and feel it on my skin as well. I just just don't believe the rated 72,000 gr is accurate.

This unit was installed to replace the one I had when hurricane Milton ripped my other one away from our mobile home in Florida. Because I travel a lot, it took me a bit to get around to hooking this up, that and we had other priorities because of the storm damage. Apparently, there are two inbound water paths, I hooked the unit up to the wrong feed (suspect that feed is for the house connections for watering the lawn and doesn't need softening). When I contacted service, Alexis asked for several pictures and while taking them, I noticed the other line. I told her I think I found the issue but she insisted on sending this through her team to assure their part is good. Julie was great, gave me a to-do list few what to look for. After fixing my error, I ran the list and reported the unit worked correctly. It took roughly 40 gallons running through the home before I realized I now had soft water. Thank you for the support! It does soften the water as described. However there is a gross metal taste that makes the tap water hurt my stomach. I can bypass the water softener and drink the city water without any problems, but when I drink the water that goes through the softener it's not drinkable.
