Great quality, adjustability, value! We’ve bought multiple over past 10 yrs.
We’ve purchased a new version of this collar each year for our dog for Christmas. We like the different colors, the fit and durability are great, easily adjusted around the body and neck, and we really like the 2 hooks for his leash attachment as different coats have different openings and this collar accommodates them all. We get a new one yearly just as a gift but we wash throughout the year and have never had any issues as they’re very durable and well constructed but we just choose to up our dogs look yearly but the collar would definitely last multiple years otherwise. Excellent value for the money!

Sturdy, adjustable, fairly-priced harness
This harness is perfect for our puppy Eva. We wanted to get a soft harness so she wouldn't have straps digging into her, and while the original Puppia harness was appealing, we were kind of hesitant to buy it since the neck width was not adjustable. But then we found the RIteFit harness, and it's perfect! Eva is (we think) a small border collie mix. She was about 19 lbs when we got the harness, and is 23.5 lbs now (1 month later). We bought a medium size harness and so far it's worked perfectly! We've had the neck adjusted to the tightest width, but I expect that we may have to expand it a bit as she grows. The chest piece we had to adjust to fit her, and we've loosened it a little over the last month to account for her growth. It seems like the medium size will probably still fit her even if she gets up to ~30lbs, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see! The neck, while adjustable, still starts off fairly wide in my opinion, so this may not be ideal for a puppy with a very small neck. The harness is pretty easy to get on; Eva has even learned the command "paw" and knows when to put hers through the side where we don't clip the neck open. Then it's just a matter of clipping both the neck and chest closed! There are two D-rings attached to the back of the harness; they are only a couple inches apart, but we usually clip her leash to the one closer to her neck. It's possible to clip a leash to both at once, though, unless the leash clip is very small. I don't think it makes a difference either way. We haven't done more than a quick rinse of the harness yet, but I believe it could easily be washed in a washing machine. It's very sturdy so far; no rips or seams coming loose or anything. Definitely worth the price for the comfort, security and quality it provides!

Well made, soft, flexible, smooth inside seams - XL fits our puppy with room to grow (her measurements: chest 23", neck 13")
We purchased this in XLarge for our 9 month old labradoodle. Her chest measures 23 - 24" . Size XL fits her with room to grow. The neck is too large for her, her neck measures 13". I have the neck adjusted as small as it will go & it seems to be comfortable for her. Be sure to pass the chest strap through the large loop on the back of the harness, otherwise your dog might be able to slip out of it. We really like this harness because it is soft & flexible. All of the inside seams have smooth finishes, so there are no rough edges to rub on your dog. We mainly use it in the car and attach the safety strap. We purchased these straps: Vastar® Adjustable Pet Dog Cat Safety Leads Car Vehicle Seat Belt Harness Seatbelt, Made from Nylon Fabric One complaint: The chest buckles are small & hard for me to open/close. Our labradoodle's hair gets stuck in them & I have to start over...but I don't think that's the fault of the buckles. I would like this better if larger buckles were used. All these beautiful color choices & I purchased black because I thought it would look most striking on our red labradoodle. Measurements for XL Puppia harness are Neck - 14 1/8" - 17-1/4"; Chest - 22" - 29 1/2"

Excellent
This is the best harness I've ever used on any of my dogs. Positives: 1. There's just enough mesh covered padding to cushion a hard jerk when my dog tries to take off after a squirrel or rabbit. Most of the other padded harnesses I've tried have had thick foam and/or wrapped around the sides. They were just too hot to use on summer days. 2. The adjustable neck and rear strap combine to make an almost perfect fit on any dog. This harness doesn't slide around easily and it's almost impossible for my sneaky little beagle to back out of it. I'm ordering another in the large size for my Terrier/Blue Heeler mix just because of this. 3. I love that it has nylon straps with plastic clips over top of the velcro fastners at the neck. I've always worried about velcro wearing out and letting my dog pop free at the worst moment. I may never need the extra security, but it's a nice touch just in case. 4. Good, strong seams. My little guy is seven months old and completely hyperactive right now. Over the past month he's tugged on this harness harder than I'd expect a dog twice is size to manage, probably hundreds of times. He runs in circles leaping through the air, dives and rolls on the sidewalk, gets tangled in bushes, and basically is a menace just due to excess energy. And this harness still looks almost new. It's a bit scuffed in spots, but no threads are popping loose and the straps and clips are still in great shape. We take him out so often that we just leave this on him from breakfast til bed time and I think it's in remarkably good condition considering that fact. Cons: none Wish List: 1. I wish there was a model of this with the neck a bit lower in the front, maybe in more of a V shape. My pup is absolutely squirrel crazy. It's like a short circuit in his brain that I haven't managed to train out of him. And that means he'll sometimes hit the end of the lead at a full run and still end up coughing a bit due to the top hem smacking the front of his throat. It's nowhere near as bad as it would be with a standard collar or the last two harnesses I tried on him though. Overall I rate this a must have for pretty much any dog. It's better made and a better design than other harnesses that I've paid almost twice as much for.

PERFECT!!!! This new design rocks!
I have used Puppia harnesses For years on my cavalier King Charles because they can have neck issues, but that dog is not at all a puller! My newest dog is a little 10 pound chi/terrier mix. He can really wriggle out of a harness in a heartbeat and with other harnesses he often gets his leg caught in part of the harness. THIS FITS PERFECTLY!! It tightens Well enough so that his leg doesn’t get caught and yet it’s comfortable for him to wear! Most training classes at this point Are requiring either a gentle leader (which I can’t keep on his nose) or a harness with the ring in the front. But he’s small! And by the time you attach a leash clip on the front of a harness on a 10 pound dog, The weight of the leash clip Makes it hang down so when the dog doesn’t pull They step on the front of the leash! Twice he actually got hurt stepping on the leash clip. The rest of the small harnesses that I found all buckle or clip right on top of the spine, and my holistic vet strongly disapproved because she says long-term a buckle that lies right on top of A vertebrae like that Can contribute to premature arthritis or spondylosis. I am completely thrilled with this new harness of Puppia’s … It’s not bulky, I was able to adjust it so that it fits him absolutely perfectly and it does not impede him walking and it’s comfortable for him to wear! If I could give this 15 stars I would!!!

Quality Harness
Right off the bat, this is a quality harness. Initially purchased my shiba inu's harness from the dollar store, but I got tired of waiting for him to fill it out, especially since he hit 3 months and is ready to go, go, go out! I measured my pups neck, and most harnesses that I liked were slightly too large, so this one, I thought, was great because it's adjustable around the neck, which at the time I measured was 10 inches. However, I found the length slightly too short for my pup. The back buckle is slightly rubbing up against the back of his front legs. It's not entirely uncomfortable, but I wish I would've waited a little longer so I could size up, assuming the length would fit my pup better. Still, it's a decent harness, but it is on the pricier side, and I wish there was more color choices. One bonus, however, that I didn't realize when I bought was the double D-hooks. When I initially got it, I didn't understand its purpose until I buckled him into my car with the safety harness and realized I didn't have to unhook his leash.

What a relief! Finally a harness that can be adjusted to fit our Shih Tzu!
Finally! We have a 7 month old Shih Tzu puppy that's already 15 lb. (hope he doesn't get any bigger!). All the harnesses he inherited from his 12 lb. heavenly brother haven't worked. The chest fit was good, but he thought we were doing something nefarious when we tried to pull the harness over his head. We have a Gooby Comfort X Head in Harness that we love (and might possibly go back to later because it looks so comfortable). The only problem with the Gooby harness is the same feature that gives his neck comfortable space is low enough in front that he can get his lower jaw under it and try to "escape" from the thing he believes is trying to trap him. This harness works great! It's very easy to initially fasten it around his neck without it having to go over his head. Then you can fasten the two clips to secure it. Also easy to adjust the chest strap and fasten it next. It has 2 metal rings on the strap on the back. We've only had this harness for 30 minutes, so can't truly speak to the durability of this harness, but we like it so much I would forgive having to do a minor repair in the future. Don't really expect to need to do this, as it looks well made. We have a step-in harness that is functional, but not comfortable with because of the two loose straps held in tension by plastic sliders that are not secured well and flop around. The rings attached to the end of the 2 straps are small, thin and plastic which we are not crazy about either. If you've fallen down my rabbit hole far enough read to this point, you can tell we love this harness... did I already say that? Will update this review as time progresses, and yes, we paid full price for this harness, no we don't work for or know the manufacturer, and no, we're not getting a kickback! :-)

This harness protected my dog’s neck in an attack
I originally bought this harness for our cat, and it worked amazingly. He never slipped out. He eventually passed away due to old age, but this harness let him enjoy our yard in his golden years. A few months later, we took in my mom’s Pomeranian. He slipped out of a different harness we’d bought him, so I wondered if our cat’s Puppia harness would work. It was a perfect fit! Cut to this weekend, when our dog was attacked by a larger dog. He was picked up by the neck and shaken. We took him to the emergency vet. And though he had some scratches and punctures on his tummy, his neck was completely fine. I fully credit the thick, padding on this harness with protecting his neck. If I ever need to buy another harness, I’m going to Puppia first.
