I bought a stud locator and a magnet, mapped out the center and the four studs around the center and used a leveler app. No damage so far, I just put it up but I’m a beginner so I don’t think much damage will happen anyway. Super sturdy and have been able to do a few spins so far no issues. Make sure to watch the video on how to install and follow the paper directions.
