Great product!
So, I used this powder to color my concrete vessels for candles. I was wanting black, but they all came out grey. They turned out beautiful. But I really wanted black.I used cementall and mixed the powder in water before I added it to the cementall. The application was smooth. I used different amount for the vessels to try and achieve a black. It just wasn't happening, lol.The reason I'm giving this product 5 stars is simply because the product itself is great. I will definitely buy this again. Cement is just tricky to work with as far as coloring at times.

Black pigment is very black
The pigment is very black (not dark grey as many are). I need to adjust the amount of pigment I used (15% of CementAll by weight) as it left my hands black during unmolding. I had to wipe off the excess. Nest time I will try 10% (by weight). But overall, it was great to be able to achieve a very solid black.

Rich color
I bought ready to use paint that I thought was black, but turns out it was gray. And it was non-refundable, so I decided to see if this would get me to the right color. It dries so deep and mixed in very smoothly. Very happy with the finished product.

Low-Fired to a pinkish purpleā¦
This was my first time using this pigment. I mixed it into a low fire, white clay body. I used about 10% pigment to clay ratio. It was a beautiful black before firing. After low firing to a cone 05 it turned a pinkish-purple or mauve color. Interesting but definitely not what I was going for. It reminds me of a cooler pink colored terracotta.

This creates a true black epoxy fill.
I use it to fill cracks in slab desk/tabletops with epoxy. Unlike mica, that gives you a "sparkly/swirly" look. This gives you a true black look.

Great, true black
A little goes a long way! I have been looking for a true black to use for my freshies, and I finally found it!

Works for plaster casting
I use this to make plaster castings for scale model dioramas. The castings can never turn out the same color as the pigment because the casting powder is such a pure white the pigment can't overcome it. But it does provide the part with the desired shade which can be perfected with paint, stains and weathering.
