No not really, you can easily take the cards in out. inner cars can be those not accessed very frequently, Plenty of card storage on the outer side.

This particular wallet does not have an easy pull to help take out the cards. I don't find that it needs one. The leather stretches and holds the cards in place well. I have about five cards per outside pocket and am very happy with the wallet's functionality.
