(As a child, I drove my parents crazy with requests for our family to move to Miami where I could be near the alligators!) Gail Gibbons is absolutely brilliant. This book captures the fascination and joy these huge reptiles have always held for me. I have several of her books, and love them all, but she has absolutely outdone herself on this one! It is one of my favorite books of all time. I love to read it for the sheer joy it brings. Brilliant job!

Love nonfiction picture books!!
My students love nonfiction and learning new facts! This book was a great read, and the Rooted in Reading curriculum off of TPT helped make teaching nonfiction text easy to understand!
