Good quality. I mainly bought these to use at the beach. Unless you dig really deep down, they are pretty much useless, you can just pull them up with your hands. But these are probably good for soil.

These are awesome. Super sturdy. Great confidence when tightening in ground. Love the hook head.

Yeah, these things are AMAZING for sand anchoring. No complaints at all. Way more durable and effective than other brands as well. Deep threading, strong, and easy to use with their T-handle thing. Don't throw that away! Very expensive, but the others are actual junk, so I guess they're worth it!

The Orange Screw arrived today and I put it right to work on the kids swing set. I have used a lot of stakes in my time, but never seen one that works perfectly right out of the box so to speak. It screwed the first one into the ground (mine has a lot of rocks and roots) with no problem. The second stake was in about half way when I felt it hit either a rock or root, and with another turn it proceeded to go right past whatever it was, and on into the ground. I then tied a rope to it and did my best to make it come up some or even out of the ground. It didn't even budge, and these are listed as small (8" shaft. the large ones have a 10" shaft) and worked like a auger! I am really impressed and I don't say that lightly. I'm buying several more to take camping for awning tie downs and cabin tent stakes. I honestly believe, anyone who buys these stakes is truly going to be impressed the way I was. Not to mention it's a family owned business and 100% made in America and lifetime guaranteed! Hats off to you guys, GREAT product!

I purchased my Orange Screw set back in 2018. It has served me well! So why am I here five years later finally reviewing it? Because I had the opportunity of working with their warranty claims department. First off, let’s talk about the orange sxrew. I’ve put my screw through the winter in a variety of terrain, some not so welcoming of anchors and three of my four screws have held up incredible well! One screw got a little deformed over the years but I continued using it without issue until just recently, I had a canopy installed in a very windy place. One where the man in you knows better to take it down but also knows better to try to make it work because the misses is holding a bake sale lol. Sure enough, a large gust of wind caught the canopy and the force snapped one of the anchors. It was the warped deformed one. The other three held their ground and refused to budge. It was enough of a gust that it practically cleared my girlfriend’s table or baked goods so she tear me the ok to tear down. Upon inspection I discovered that the anchor that broke was the one that looked like it was on its last leg. I submitted a pic to the company and they immediately responded that they were replacing the set without issue. It was a pleasant experience and I’m just happy to be able to confidently say that these guys stand behind their product and after having to utilize their lifetime claim I’m glad I picked the original brand. I’ve seen some clones that look similar but I recommend you buy the original, what good is a lifetime warranty for companies that come and go under new brand names every three months. The orange screw is the company that’s been in the game far longer than I discovered them. You won’t be disappointed and in the rare event that you are I’m confident they will work to make it right. They did right by me.
