In that ad, Brown & White Snuffles was holding a daisy and smiling his sweet smile. I was smitten! I have owned and loved Snuffles Bears from every decade, regular and anniversary editions, in many colors, and various sizes. This most recent version of Snuffles is by far the softest, most velvety, marshmallowy soft Snuffles ever! Much, much better quality and ever so much more snuggly than the Snuffles from the last twenty-five years! (This new Snuffles is far and away SO much softer than even my Vermont Teddy Bear "World's Softest Bear"!!) The Snuffles from the 1980's had, I believe, a tad more heft to it, but I don't think even original Snuffles was as soft as this new version. This most recent version of Snuffles is absolutely perfect! I have both the pink (a beautiful dusty rose shade of pink) and the taupe Snuffles from this edition, and I'm back to order another color. I will definitely be purchasing them all for my teddy bear den. =) I'm really so happy to see Gund producing Snuffles in a new "luxe" version. Snuffles is finally getting the respect and star-treatment he deserves! Snuffles is the flagship bear that made Gund a household name.
