This is the second part of the previous review for the smaller version. It refers to polyester toy filling and the worm like twits and clumps that you find with-in.Used together they do a very good job which I would recommend.

I bought it to comb out some sheepskin rugs after a wash, but it was a little smaller than expected and the sheepskins turned out well after a low temperature tumble in the drier, so I didn't use it for its intended purpose. But I tried it on my cat and I have seriously never heard or seen him so happy, so at least I have a well-groomed and contented cat!

Great for mixing felting fibres together

Used for untangling rug prior to and after washing. Works well but size a little too small for our rug. Would order a larger siz next time.

Easy to use, once you start you can't stop until the job is done, fantastic results, lovely fluffy rug

These carders are ideal for someone making dolls hair from fleece or other small projects, but are only palm size - too little for producing wool for spinning in any quantity.
