This unscented serum feels so lightweight but keeps my skin super hydrated and calm. My skin barrier feels stronger and smoother since I started using it. It absorbs fast, layers well with other products, and never feels sticky. I do two layers after my retinol and my skin is so soft and glowy in the morning. Wow, best accidental purchase and most serendipitous delivery EVER. Highly recommend this serum! I bought this by mistake when I was looking at skincare products to help after a peel and had a few tabs open and was frantically researching what would help ASAP. It felt like I had no skin barrier at all, skin was dry, wrinkly, red, flaky- more than ever before in my life and the cream I was advised to use was not working at all. I was panicking and needed something that would absorb and moisturize and repair my face as nothing I had at home or would normally use was sinking into my skin or it was irritating my face even more or had fragrances that dermatologists cautioned against using after a peel. I felt like I was wearing a Halloween mask because I looked so awful. Hence the accidental purchase- mass panic ordered a bunch of lotions, serums, balms like Cicaplast, Eucerin, good molecules, stuff with hyaluronic acids and or occlusive properties or things claiming to heal/repair/protect your skin. Was set to return this when I opened the package and read the label- I had been looking at some other Inkey product that I thought I’d clicked BUY NOW on, what was this “ectoin” stuff?! Looked it up and all the ingredients sounded like what I needed and didn’t know I needed. Had already tried a few of the products that arrived before this one and hyaluronic acids made things worse, creams and balms still wouldn’t sink in, were greasy or heavy or felt like they did nothing. In desperation I tried this and ooooooh yes it works. Sank right in, could see my face getting less wrinkled and more moisturized within ten minutes and felt healthier. By the next day my barrier was feeling human again, within a few days it did everything it promised. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t leave any oily residue, it penetrates and hydrates and makes skin silky smooth again. More than pleasantly surprised, would recommend this every time to someone after a peel or after a sunburn or with a damaged skin barrier!

Most affordable quality ectoin out there right now. This is a MUST for the winter, people with normally dry skin and also for aging skin. Put it on right after cleansing when skin is just patted dry (slightly damp) and wait a couple minutes before serums. If you don’t wait it may pill a little depending on what your serum base is but if you throw moisturizer on at the end it all melds together. This has been a total game changer for me! It keeps my skin looking moisturized all day. There is a higher concentration ectoin product on the market but it costs 3x this one. I sometimes put a couple drops of the expensive one into a couple pumps of this one when it’s extra cold out or my skin is sensitized from a retinoid.

The product itself works great, but on mine the pump quit working and now I can't get any product out.

This is really nice and goes on smooth and feels good. Watch what you layer it with as I've had problems with it pilling up.

I have very sensitive, dry, eczema skin. if i even look at my skin wrong, it will find a reason to be irritated. this has never irritated my skin. it absorbs well, i never noticed any stickiness with this serum. it leaves my skin hydrated, not red

This product is great as a second serum step in your routine. I used it to replace my moisturiser as felt it was thick enough to seal and hydrate the skin. It also seems to help with my redness and rosacea. The product itself is promising leaving my skin soft hydrated and sealed however the pump is poor. I also found this product helped some barrier issues I had on my elbows so used it as a healing balm. Its thick but not greasy it has a gloopy serum gel like texture so would work well for oily skin.

This serum has transformed my skin, I use it everyday and have noticed such a difference with the way my skin looks and feels, I would 100% recommend buying this.
