Yes you can bi-amp these speakers. Thats what the 4 hookups are for. So you use 1 channel for the mid and tweeter and another channel for the 15's. I own the XLS -215 and let me just say they are outstanding.

These speakers are very efficient. Any receiver or amplifier that produces 20 watts or more will drive the speaker. If you have 100 to 200 watts per channel........Your Denon puts out 110 watts per channel, in two channel mode. I play almost strictly metal, and prog metal, I want the hear all the guys in dream theater, & Opeth clear as hell, and be able to crank it to 11.
