I was worried about other negative reviews but i decided to follow the advice of one person who blended hers when the product arrived separated, and i can tell you this is excellent!!!! It tastes so good and is super smooth, just use an immersion blender to reconstitute the butter. I decanted mine in a mason jar after blending.

This is fantastic! Yes, it is somewhat hard, and spreadability isn't the best, but that comes with the territory, by its very nature. This tastes so good, I really can eat it right out of the jar! I can't wait to use this with coconut rice, coconut soup, and a wide variety of other uses! Thank you for a great inexpensive supremely tasty organic product!

Kevala Coconut Butter ... Wonderful! Great Flavor! Consistency is Great! First time I've tried it but the reviews sounded good and it proved to be just that! I was leery about ordering seeing reviews and pictures with leaked, open, and/or damaged jars. I went ahead and ordered though. It arrived tightly sealed. No leaking. No damage. Wrapped well with bubble wrap taped around it.

We have purchased the 2lb containers 3 times now. When we open one we put it in a pot of warm water and let it sit. Then we stir the layers together so the oil and butter mix well. After we do this one time it stays mixed. This has a sweet but substantial taste. We leave this in the pantry (not the fridge) so it is not rock solid. It has the consistency of a seed butter...little bits of texture. This is the best price/taste we have found.
