Excellent display port to display port cable. It’s very difficult to find a display cable that locks into place over 10ft long in a store. This cable works very very well.

First off, I have to state that I'm talking about the 25-ft version of this cable. Don't buy that version unless you're plugging it into a TV that will only be used for cable television at 24FPS. If you need a really long cable like that for something higher end like a high end computer monitor (my situation), this does not work for that. What you need instead is something called an active cable or an active cable extender. This same company makes one for not very much. When I plugged this into my computer and 144 hz 2K monitor, the result was that I could only get 2K at 24FPS, and no amount of messing around in the Nvidia control panel could fix it. So get the active DP cable extender instead for most situations. That worked for me

there is a lot of misinformation on these cables when it comes to resolution and distance, or just luck of understanding. I am sharing my personal experience. I have it connected to a mac pro version 5,1 with a nvidia geforce gtx 680 graphics card, driving two a 27' and a 30" monitors and it works very well, I am using maximum resolution and I don't see any degradation of quality or refresh rates. I use it mostly with phaseone capture one with an 80mp camera.
