Can not deal with incompatible ink cartridges anymore
I had to replace my HP printer that was almost this same model that I was very happy with. My new printer worked fine for a few months. I enrolled in the ink subscription service like before. From the beginning I had some issues with my printer telling me the cartridges were incompatible despite them coming from HP and being legit HP cartridges. I would fiddle with it to get it to finally work until a couple of days ago. I went to replace my ink and it will not validate the cartridges. I tried everything Reddit and YouTube told me to try after getting no where with HP support. I unenrolled in the ink subscription and tried to use regular HP cartridges but it still would not validate those either. Again, I tried all of the tricks and tips to no avail. Iโve spent two days fiddling with this stupid printer to get it to read and validate HP ink. Legit HP ink. Iโm done with HP and will be replacing this less than one year old printer (itโs May and I got it in August) with and Epson. I will never buy another HP printer until the cartridge issue is resolved with their software and their ink either lasts longer or decreases in price. I really hate it bc the print quality of this printer is great. The app is good, connectivity is good until recently, and the benefits of the ink subscription outweighed the issues. But now I donโt care if the ink was free if it wonโt work and takes two days to figure out then I donโt want it. The printer would stop printing mid page or document. It jammed some but not too much. It was not too noisy, lightweight, and easy to open and easy to change paper. It just wonโt validate their own cartridges to actually be able to print. A printer should work. Ink cartridges should work. Printers should last longer than a year. I do not recommend this product.

Simple Printer That Works
Iโve bought a lot of printers over the yearsโboth cheap ones and more expensive models. The cheap printers never work quite right, and the more expensive ones are just more expensive without being noticeably better. This HP printer hits the sweet spot. It was easy to set up, works the way itโs supposed to, and doesnโt make printing feel like a technical event every single time. One of my favorite features is the appโI have it on my phone and can print directly from my phone, which is honestly crazy good and incredibly convenient. It connects reliably, prints cleanly, and does exactly what you expect a printer to do. If youโre tired of wasting money on printers that are either unreliable or overpriced, this one is a solid choice. Very happy with this purchase.

Printer is good but not great!!!
Usually, I do not write reviews, but after reading the reviews, I think itโs important to do this. The printers is good quality but cheaply made. The cord falls provide falls out so if you a cord from a HP printer, keep it !!! It will save you a heartache. It does print 8 1/2 x 11 little slow but it does work, quality is good -not excellent set up so so had some connection problems but overall Iโm OK with it. For the price itโs probably worth it (?) you decide.

Good multitask printer
Arrived in a timely fashion. Not too complicated to set up and so far works very satisfactorily. A good choice for printer that can print, copy and scan.

I regret buying it.
This is the worst printer I've ever had. If I could give it zero stars, I would. It jams every few files I print. I'm not even printing crazy file sizes either; my document can be a few pages long, and it will error out on the first one. And these jams are not due to the quality of paper I am using. In addition to the constant paper jams, I've had cartridge errors, and once when the printer didn't even realize it was glitching. It kept warping, shifting, and erasing portions of the documents I was printing. After about an hour of trial and error (to confirm that it was indeed the printer and not my laptop, the file, or the connection) I had to do a couple hard reboots to get it to work. The worst part is that I was charged for those failed attempts at printing my document because it didn't even realize it was failing. The subscription fee is also straight up predatory. It's not clear that you CANNOT opt out of the printing subscription, nor that the printer will refuse to print anything and lock up after your "free trial" is over. It's not a trial period if you do not have the option of cancelling after the trial period is over. This is honestly very disappointing because I used to be a loyal HP user. All of my printers growing up were HP, and now I've completely lost trust. It takes a lot for me to write a product review, and this one was bad enough for me to want to warn others not to buy it. And this isn't for money; I had a few documents I needed to print, and then a few months later when I needed to print more, all of these problems became apparent; but it was well after the return period ended. I will be buying a new printer from another brand and have accepted that I wasted money on trash. Yes, it was a cheap printer, and things like its slow printing speed was acceptable, but it's performance was so much worse than what I was expecting from an HP product. Absolutely terrible. Also do not rely on the AI check marks when looking at the product reviews. Do not make the same mistake I did. I literally did not mention anything about the duplex printing, paper capacity, or scanning, and somehow the AI interpretted it as a positive.

Great printer for the money
Needed to replace my 10 yr old printer that bit the dust - did quite a bit of research and decided this printer would meet my needs, had pretty high ratings and price was right. Set up was pretty easy tho i did have a friend who is more tech savy than me help me set it up. I you are not good with tech stuff and find it difficult to navigate files and downloads it may be tricky for you. I signed up for the pre-paid ink program as its free for 3 months - may drop after that as i really don't print that much, I print mostly in black and I received a large black ink cartridge as part of the ink program so may not need much more for quite a while. Have had for about a month and have printed 4 or 5 times with it - print quality is good; it prints fast and has copy and scan features which I wanted. For the money don't think you can beat it.

Excellent Printer But...
Easy to install. Excellent connectivity and good print quality from any device, but original repacement cartridges are really expensive and not easy for find in the UAE. The HP automatic ink replacement option lists a supplier who shows item is not available so that option (together with the 3-months free ink supply offer) is not available in the UAE, so it would seem...

Good to know before you buy.
The printer worked fine out of the box however, be aware of 2 things. The scanner cannot scan 2 sided documents using the document feeder's duplex feature, because there is no duplex feature offered on this model, according to HP Support. The HP website seems to indicate that it is possible, but it is not. The glass size is not large enough to scan a legal sized document, the only way to scan legal is through the document feeder. Measure the glass size and make sure it works for you before ordering. It is large enough to scan a letter sized document 8 ยฝ" x 11.
