I hope these handle the cold. Paddles arrived frozen solid here in Iowa, didn’t receive delivery notification.  They thawed out, planted them and they have taken off!  Great recovery!  My issue isI broke off a paddle when weeding so I prepared it to start another plant. Not sticker-less!  Been trying to get stickers out all day!  I don’t mind them having stickers but I DO mind that advertised as no stickers.  I would have used tongs and worn gloves like the regular ones needed to be prepared with.

I am very disappointed and very upset with this product. First of all, it looks nothing like what they’re promoting in the picture. Second of all, I know what a nopal is supposed to look like in order for it to be able to be planted and grow. This looks like I bought it at the Mexican grocery store and is ready to be cooked on the grill- this will rot, it won’t grow if planted. Do not buy these if your looking to plant them.
