There have been a few comments that the bed at the Marriott appears to be softer than the one that arrives. I also read that ordering the entire Marriott bedding package makes a more comfortable bed. So I did order the bedding directly from Marriott and the bed from desertcart which was $250 cheaper than going directly through Marriott. When the bed arrived within a month (two weeks earlier than promised) it was firmer than the beds at the hotels I visit. However I do believe you need to order the bedding to go with the mattress. After a few days, both my husband and I truly have had the best sleep in years. I have a sore hip which was getting worse from our old mattress and I wake up now with no pain. All the Marriott properties have converted over to the foam mattress so I highly recommended that over the box and spring mattress they still offer. The foam gives firm support and not the sinking feeling you get with other foam mattresses. It also is not to hot which is another complaint of foam mattresses.
