Can you add essential oils or some other scented product to these?

Definitely, we recommend you add the oil in the last 5 minutes of the drying cycle so the heat does not kill off the oil.

Were are they made? Were the wool came from?

Our wool is sourced in New Zealand and then shipped to Nepal where it is hand felted.

Do i have to wash it furst to get rid of the unpleasant odor before first use?

No need to wash them. The sheep odor disappears with use and DOES NOT make the laundry smell. I've been using these for almost a year now and have had no problems. They definitely make a positive difference in drying time and wrinkle reduction.
