Anche quando si fanni operazioni con altre costanti matematiche non riesce sempre a scrivere i risultati esatti. Ad esempio se c’è sia il pi greco sia una radice non riesce. Con la costante e (numero di nepero) non scrive mai in forma esatta e idem con radici di indici diversi da 2.
