The fire arrived very quickly so excellent service. We realised we needed to remove the panel at the back so that the gas. Canister would fit. We just had to screw it on the other way round. The fire works very well and is heating the workshop. It is easy to move around and the pilot light goes on first try. Very pleased with it so far.

I love this fire. Takes a few clicks to get it started but love the heat that it gives off. I use flo gas, no issue. Had to pay extra at local garden centre to get a gas bottle to get started.

Well, lighting the pilot light for the first time making sure it stays lit takes about 15 mins and needs patience, so if you are getting frustrated when you first fire the thing up, have patience and persevere as it will eventually stay alight....the back bar panel ,that holds the gas cylinder, needs to be unscrewed and screwed back on again when you have the gas cylinder in place. If you have the fire in the middle of a room then this does looks unsightly, as the gas cylinder is clearly visible....the old gas fire I had, has a back panel that covered the cylinder up completely and was easier to remove and put back on when changing cylinders....with this one you have to unscrew the four screws that hold the back bar in place which holds the cylinder, so not a great design....otherwise does the job at the price and heat is good as is the three bar option......you can choose how many bars you need so that is gd. Overall very good for the money so satisfied with the purchase and the supplier who delivered the item within two days of ordering and that was extremely impressive, especially as I am not on mainland uk...and the delivery driver was considerate enough to place the item inside the passage, as I was out when it arrived....4 stars for the fire 5 stars plus for the supplier and delivery!

Pilot light does not stay lit and when it is alight is aimed too high causing the top of the grill to get red hot but the ceramic plates to be missed. Doesn't seem safe to me

I had some problems when I first purchased this item fire would shut off after about 1 1/2 hours but for all it was worked in the correct areas as manufacturer recommendations it seem to sort itself out over time excellent heater well worth it.

We haven't been able to use it because Calor Gas cylinders are simply not available - you can only exchange cylinders but we haven't got one to start with - Catch 22! The heater is currently still in its box

I used the heater for my conservatory and it kicks out a lot of heat quickly, the ignition isn't brilliant but I just light it with a portable lighter. It also looks the part, usually they come in brown and look a bit utilitarian but the red looks quite nice, well worth the money and the gas bottle tends to last me through the winter
