Mallomars Pure Chocolate Cookies, 8.2 oz

I was hoping that these cookies would be the same as the chocolat "finger" cookies I liked when I was young. They are similar enough in taste that I will buy them again. I'm on my third one now. Can't eat just one. I'm going to send some to friends. Updated review. I ordered 4 more boxes. Three for myself and one for my son. His arrived in good condition. I opened my 1st box tonight. Yikes, very dissapointed. Returning tomorrow. I imagine that it is not Amazon's fault. I mean how would Amazon know when these cookies are bad? I'll still give 5 stars because the return process is painless and they are delicious if they are edible when they arrive. However, I'm reluctant to reorder, but I may order a single box because thery are not available in stores near me. ..... Yes I have to order a single box. Update 10/31/25 . I placed an order for a single box of these cookies. I was notified that I reached my order limit and could not order more. I was unaware that some Amazon products have order limits. Bummer. 2nd Update.Well, these cookies are so good that I took a chanch and ordered another single box. Upon opening this bow, I found that some of the bottoms seperated from the marshmello top. (no pictire) These cookies are quite delicate. I believe that when they were delivered, the carton was dropped on my doorstep as is usually done by shipping companies.But, they were certainly edible. So I just held the pieces together when I ate them. Mmmm, delicious. I will definately order them again. I have no idea what happened to the cookies seen in the photo I provided. Might have been warehoused improperly. ??? I am soo glad that I gave them another try. Definately five star if you overlook the bad ones I received.

These are my favorite cookies! The marshmallow is soft and tender, the chocolate is dark and delicious and the cookie is perfectly crisp. I wait for these to come out in the fall and stock up so they will last all year. They are the best chocolate marshmallow cookie on the market.

If you love smores, you will absolutely love these classic cookies. I grew up eating these, they do taste a little bit different than how they did back in the 90s, but they are a vintage cookie that still made fresh, I love the crispy, hard, chocolate shell exterior, the soft marshmallow pillows inside and the graham cracker crust. it is an easy snack. I can’t get enough of it. not diet friendly but a nice treat when you want to indulge yourself.

Delicious things, quality taste, very reasonable price.

Every cookie was broken. One theory is that as these cookies are shipped to higher elevations the marshmallow expands and breaks the chocolate shell. I live at 4300 feet. A less generous theory is that they are not packaged to withstand the modern delivery standards. I ordered these because I heard them mentioned in TV shows. They are not available in stores where I live. I'm not impressed with the cookies overall, but I am impressed with how paper-thin they made the chocolate coating! Seriously, thin as paper and fragile as snowflakes. Why so stingy? Put a thick layer of chocolate on there! This isn't 1935!
