I’m absolutely in love with my Step2 Vero Pool Lounger! The price is great! This lounger is the ultimate upgrade for my pool area, and I couldn't be happier with it. The fade-resistant, waterproof design is perfect for outdoor use, especially around the pool, where exposure to sun and water is constant. It looks pristine and expensive. The lounger is weighted just right, ensuring it stays firmly in place on the pool shelf, even when I’m getting in or out of the water. It’s designed for use in pools with shelves up to 9 inches deep, and it fits perfectly in my pool’s sun shelf, giving me the most comfortable lounging experience while staying partially submerged. As a family of 4, this is a great lounger we are all truly enjoying. The adjustable backrest makes me feel like we’re living in Goldilocks and the 3 Bears..it’s just right, but for all of us! I love being able to sit up and read while my husband prefers to recline back and relax. The lounger is sturdy yet comfortable, and it doesn’t tip or wobble, even when my two kids love to run over to it together to relax and take a break from swimming. Once it arrived, it was easy to put together. It’s great for inside or outside the pool and the sandbox under the seat is easy to fill to weigh down the lounger on the pool shelf. The material is high-quality and easy to clean, and it stays cool even in the sun, which is a huge plus. Whether we’re enjoying the sun, chatting or reading, this beautiful, sleek lounger really elevates our backyard and has quickly become a poolside favorite.

It arrived! This was sold out for a little so super excited to finally receive. Shipping came very fast via Fed Ex. The box was light weight and easy to move. The lounger comes in three parts and with everything needed for assembly except a screwdriver. I was able to unbox and assemble in 10 minutes without any assistance. We are a very active family and use our lilly pad area either for adult chill or relaxation or sometimes for the little ones to play and splash around and sometimes with our big family we use it for both at same time. I need versatility. So after assembly I put this in my pool to see how it went without adding in the water or sand to weight it down. With a little assistance in getting it to sink, the lounger went down and stayed down and didn’t move or float around. This is huge bonus, one I absolutely love about this, if you have used other loungers you know what I mean. This chair has areas to add additional weight such as sand or water to make sure in it doesn’t move. However, without the requirement of adding in extra weight I can add this in to pool and remove without extra muscle needed. (Aka my husband) I just got it to ledge let it drain and then enjoyed on side ledge of pool. I love that I have the option to add in the weight but huge win I don’t need to. Again, this chair is perfect for in pool or side of pool or really just lounging anywhere. Plus this Step 2 material is so durable and with a little quick power wash it looks brand new making it super easy to clean and maintain. Absolutely worth every penny. This one’s a keeper.

2025 update: We replaced our original Step 2 lounger with the Vero Adjustable Back In-Pool Lounger and are very happy with the decision. If our shelf had enough room I would have kept both but a decision had to be made and the adjustable one won out. Like the previous lounger, it took 20 minutes from unboxing to being assembled and placed in the pool. We used water as the weight as opposed to sand and it stays put. I love the ability to adjust the back as I don’t always want to be totally upright and this also gives me the ability to lay on my stomach to tan my backside. The seat portion is not as comfortable as our previous version but it’s a sacrifice I am willing to make for the adjustable back. All in all I am really happy with this version and look forward to taking full advantage of it this pool season. Previously review for the lounger with riser: This Step 2 lounger is the perfect addition to our pool. Assembly was a breeze and within 20 minutes it had been unboxed, put together and in the pool. We didn’t realize you needed sand so for now the weight is filled with water and is doing its job. The riser makes the lounger usable with the colder water temps. When it warms up we will easily be able to take the lounger off the riser and place it directly on the sun shelf to be submerged if we so desire. Having had several Step2 products over the years I know that they hold up well, especially in the Florida sun, so I know we will be able to enjoy this product for years to come. For size reference our sun shelf is 7x7 and 10 inches deep.

The Step2 loungers a nice addition to the sun deck on my pool. Having an adjustable back is so helpful. I filled the weight chamber with sand and water. Really holds it in place, but still easy to move when needed.
