After having a more expensive item like this (Beehyve), I found that this product is more bang for your buck. Easy to connect and use either with app or manually. Best part is no batteries needed. Solar charging works perfectly.

I initially ordered a different timer that said it was wifi'd. It wasn't. Even though I'm sure the product was fine, it was too difficult to wade through the instructions. This timer is really nice, so far. I ordered 2 more. I literally like the fact that I can turn my sprinklers on from anywhere in the world and shut them off again via their app. They are solar powered and USB-C capable. I position my sprinklers where I want them and then in the morning, even before I get out of bed, I simply turn them on! If you put 2 hoses on the same faucet, the PSI will be lower, natch. My wife and I are really glad we bought these.

The good:The water timer is very easy to set up and control and very simple to schedule programs via the app. It runs two separate irrigation systems that can be separately programmed.The bad:The solar panels literally need direct sunlight to charge the battery. So, if it’s installed against the house in the shade or under trees, it will NOT charge the battery. Additionally, since everything is plastic, I wonder how long the device will last in direct sunlight.I read that another buyer bought a separate solar panel and connected it to the usb-port. This option is way cheaper than extend the waterpipes to the middle of somewhere, just for it to get charged, like I was planning to do. It won't reset and cannot be reconnected to wifi. It's just flashing a red light and won't do anything else. My advice: do not buy.

Pros: Works well, decent app that is easy to use. No leaks or leak buy ( yet). I have used this for 1 watering season now.Con: If your timer won't be in direct sunlight most the day you will spend your life keeping it charged. The battery is small and battery life blows.

Easy set up. Works as intended and the app is good. The solar panels are good and keep the battery around 98 to 100% on sunny days.Update: demoted to 3 stars.Four months in the device has some issues where it becomes unresponsive and needs to be reset or let batteries die to restart it. Not ideal

I purchased 2 of these units, app is great, electronics work great, battery life good. The bad, both of mine broke at same time place, the solar panel on both units broke, I added a Velcro to unit to attach the solar panels, then on both units the inlet broke. Contacted customer service through Amazon app, no response from company. Unit is not very rugged and breaks easily. Poor customer service.

This timer is amazing and very affordable. Easy to program and I can control it from anywhere in the world.

Very happy with this purchase. Solid feel high quality construction, I don’t think it’s going to fall apart being outside 24/7. The input connector is metal but the two output connectors are plastic. The app is the Smart Life anpp which I already had for other devices which is easy to use and you can control each output individually with the app or with your smart home device. The solar panel doesn’t swivel so to can’t point it wherever you want so you have to mount it in a way that will work for you. Mine isn’t charging it’s in a shady area so I wasn’t sure it would so I’ll have to charge it manually I guess.
