Any suggestions?** A: What I do is buy both a medium and a large pair, and take both apart (running them under warm water in the sink helps soften them up and makes this easier). I then assemble a pair with the flanged piece (the part that actually goes inside your ear) from the large pair, and the medium sized concha bowl part (outer piece) . Then I run the flanged piece under hot water to soften it up, and then put it in my ear until it cools. Perfect fit, and less likely to accidentally back out.Obviously it's twice as expensive to do this. But I use these every day at work so it's worth the cost. **Q: Has anyone used these for sleeping?** A: Yes I have. I took the cord off for better comfort. Worked well. **Q: Do these come with a hard case for carrying?** A: Yes it does have a hard case and it has a chain to connect both ear buds **Q: How do I know these fit and how can I test that they reduce noise in a dental setting?** A: I'm not sure about the size but they'll work perfectly in the dental setting I work around heavy machinery and when I am using the earplugs I don't hear anything ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 素晴らしい耳栓 *by on Reviewed in Japan August 22, 2026* 6年間騒音から耳を守ってくれました。ピロピロが耳の穴に喰い込まなくなり、先日、耳栓の役割を果たせず引退になりました。射撃に好適であると思料します。 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 装着しやすい *by on Reviewed in Japan September 18, 2026* 他のイヤープラグと比べ使いやすい　装着の仕方によっては耳が痛い ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 工場勤務にて有効 *by on Reviewed in Japan April 14, 2026* 金属加工を行う工場にて使用。 ## Frequently Bought Together - SureFire EP5 Sonic Defenders Max Full-Block Earplugs, triple flanged design, reusable - SureFire EP10 Sonic Defenders Ear Plugs (1 Pair) - SureFire EP7 Sonic Defenders Ultra filtered Earplugs w/ Comply Canal Tips, reusable --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/728712069-surefire-ep5-bk-mpr-earmuffs-sonic-defender-max-26db](https://www.desertcart.it/products/728712069-surefire-ep5-bk-mpr-earmuffs-sonic-defender-max-26db) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
