I left the operation of this generator to my 17 year old Grandson during the last outage, and he had no trouble with it at all. It was easy to operate and started with no trouble after calibration. We got a good 6 or 7 hours on a gallon of gas and it was not obnoxiously loud. Best of all, the price was great. I recommend this little generator for anyone who likes peace of mind while the power is out.

It's what I expected over all. it's very light, very easy to carry. Easy to start and quiet. Tried in my backyard, running smoothly, to light my patio light and run a fan, feel great. Really like the rubber pad, I just put the generator on my deck, almost can't feel the viberation, much better than my previous one which does not have the rubber pad. Can't wait to bring it with my Labor day's camping.

We bought this to run our HiSense kitchen refrigerator/freezer during emergencies. The fridge is energy efficient and only uses 300 watts, which this generator easily supplies. I use premade 50 to 1 fuel, which is far more expensive than using regular gas and 2 stroke oil, but the premix fuel has long term storage ability and is easy to store in the can it comes in. Starting the generator for the first time is relatively easy. Ensure you have at least a quart of fuel mixture in the tank, turn the fuel valve on and generator switch on, set the choke to full, pull the start rope a few times and it will start right up. Let it idle a few seconds, then move the choke to the run position. The top carrying handle is stored inside the packing foam. It's easy to miss, so you have to hunt for it. The handle screws in from the top making for an easy install. The generator is sturdy and well built and includes a spark plug tool and an oil measurement cup if you decide not to use premix fuel. It's relatively quiet and would be useful and not too loud as a camping generator. Also included is a 12 volt cable. The generator has a 12 volt port on the side opposite the start rope. Very handy. You simple cannot beat the functionality for price. If you need a small generator for emergencies, this is a great choice.

This little guy was able to keep a bouncy house bower going all day with no problems whatsoever. It can hold about a gallon of gas and that'll last it for about 6 hours. Not too noisy but keep an extension cord handy if you are using a projector and get it far away. It's nice and rugged, heavy but not cumbersome. Defiantly a good grab for camping, will keep phones and other electronics charged for you and the family.
