The right lip above the volume + button doesn't fit exactly right. Is this normal?

I had this problem and was able to correct it. The common problem is because this particular case is designed into 2 pieces: inner lining + outer shell. What I did instead: 1. Make sure the outer shell is already attached to inner lining (without the phone). 2. Make sure both sides are properly flushed; especially that pesky corner. 3. At an angle, insert the S22 with the right side going in first (the side with the buttons) while keeping an eye on the upper corner, making sure it doesn't pop out of place. 4. Push/Force in the rest of the phone into the case. Using this method, this kept the problematic corner flushed. It hasn't pop out of place since.

Will this case have the phone overheat? I'm having a problem with that with my current case.

I think by nature, all cases cause some overheating. This does as well for me.

Has anyone had problems with the kick stand, mine won't stay in the case after the first time I opened it, it just won't stay in the case

I bought multiple ones for other phones and the stand stays in just fine. I think you should try to return it or exchange it to get another one.
