They are not held together. When you remove the mold, you can add sand or Polysweep in the cracks to stabilize the walkway. **Q: what stops the stones from moving to the side? I have seen with regular pavers there are paver restraints. Does this product need it?** A: I did not use a paver restraint. I will be using tipple stone to put between the pavers.
