Doing water color paints. Is this product considered a water color paint, used the same as water color paint tubes?

No, these paints are acrylic paints. It is my understanding that acrylic paints are plastic-based while watercolor paints are water-based - so they likely would be used for different purposes and have different properties.

Can this paint be used in an airbrush? If so do you have to thin it?

Yes you can but it works best thinned out. I build up the color with very thin coats
