Thanks!** A: It would depend on the kind of plastic used either Acrlic or Poly carbonate. If either is coated to prevent scratching the coating may be the cause of the haze. And should be removed before polishing, normally you ues a Base solution, like caustic soda to remove most comerical, coatings used today in manufacturing.
