Does the other person have to press a button to hear your voice or can you intercom and it comes up without having the person accept? It just comes on

Thank you for your attention for Wuloo intercom system.
This  intercom is one-single way communication system, it need to press and hold the TALK button while speaking, after finish speaking and release the button and then the others can reply to you.
However, if your want to talk with each other hands free, you can use the VOX mode. Please download the manual on product page part [ Technical Specification ] for the details of VOX mode.

Is it possible for others to hear our conversation without knowing it?

Absolutely YES. Others on the same channel can hear your conversation. Setting up a channel code will *not* prevent others from hearing you. A channel code is intended to reduce interference from other stations.

Im wanting to connect my brick home to my steel strong panel pole shed approximately 75 feet away. Cell phones hardley work inside. Will these work?

This intercom system signal range is 1 mile in opes area, it may be shorter 1/2 mile between metal buildings, so there should be is no issue for this intercom to work between your brick home and steel strong panel pole shed approximately 75 feet away.

Des the antenna rotate? I would like to put it on a wall but do not want the antenna to stick out into the area in front of the unit.

Yes it's made to attach to the wall and the antenna works straight up. and it rotates very nicely. I like these units as they work just fine.
