What can I say here? I really enjoyed this movie and didn't realize what the "clicks" meant until recently. I had to watch it a few times back to back to understand the gist of the movie. If you haven't seen it, then go out and get it... it's a must watch. Delivery was fantastic...3 days earlier than expected! 👍🏼

How can someone represent the decision to leave their beloved children at home in order to act in their best interest: to protect them and make space for them in the world? It is a decision similar to leaving one’s country and entering a completely different space. In the movie, that space is literal: outer space, beyond Earth. It can also be read as a metaphor for the decision many military people make: leaving their homeland to fight far away, hoping that by confronting threats elsewhere they protect those at home. In some languages, what is not national is called “alien.” Terms such as resident alien or nonresident alien even have technical meanings in taxation, to define what is non-citizen. In this sense, the metaphor is not foreign to modern language. Who is sent on the risky missions? Who becomes “inter-stellar”? The stars, the scientists, and the children, remain at home, organizing life and managing the limited resources available at home. Statically, at a given point in time, the message can feel sad, but dynamically, for the future, it is also hopeful: new resources might be found, and children might be protected through strategies like this. Yet it cannot be forgotten that such a vision may also imply a certain disregard for what is different: a narrow conception of children’s welfare that does not fully account for how others may react. The movie highlights also how scarce resource can create problems in the same team... An excellent movie is also defined by elements such as the soundtrack and the performances of the actors. In this respect, Interstellar excels. The soundtrack perfectly matches the emotional message of the film, and the performance of Matthew McConaughey is outstanding. This may well belong among the greatest acting performances in the history of world cinema. He is able to represent everything: hope, joy, sadness, and the unfair sacrifices that society sometimes asks parents to make in the name of their children’s future. He did not win an Academy Award for this role, although interestingly he won the Academy Award that same year (2014) for another performance in another movie. I guess he could not win twice, but still it's hard to believe and I had to double check the Academy Award record... And yes, this is also a sci-fi movie, so there are a lot of starships, planets, and all of that. I am ending the review with a quote, from a music success of a popular singer, Ellie Goulding, Burn: " We don't have to worry 'bout nothing 'Cause we got the fire And we're burning one hell of a something They They're gonna see us from outer space, outer space Light it up Like we're the stars of the human race, human race"

De mis películas favoritas, excelente historia y efectos, música, todo. Podría achacarle que no trae Dolby Atmos, ni DTS X, pero con el audio DTS Master Audio es espectacular, tal vez, pero tal vez sea un poquito oscura, (uso una LG C5 oled), pero creo que así son las películas de Nolan, todo bien en esta película.
