Oozes 5.8Ghz quality, they feel solid.
Talk about rock solid performance, yup they are 200 bux, but bandwidth is something no one talks about. Let me break it down for you. A 5.8Ghz system, like the U35 has ~125MHz usable bandwidth which is 1.5x larger than 2.4ghz's 83.5MHz. There is much more spectrum for 5.8Ghz. The other plus is there is often far less things running on 5.8Ghz and than 2.4Ghz so you automatically get a cleaner signal because you don't have other devices talking on the range. 2.4Ghz has become very congested and has a lot of noisy neighbours. So you generally get a clean 5.8Ghz band signal. Now for the con, no matter what anyone tells you, 5.8Ghz is a higher frequency, there for it's not going to penetrate walls very well. It really wants a clean almost line of sight configuration. Where as 2.4Ghz can penetrate some things a little better, but still a solid wall can block it. But even humidity can adsorb 5.8Ghz, anything to do with water, like leaves, adsorb 5.8Ghz where 2.4Ghz can penetrate it a little easier. Bottom line, because of the cleanness of channels, if you have good line of sight, 100feet is pretty easy, perhaps even longer. Where as 2.4Ghz if it's has other 2.4Ghz devices (think phone, microwave, wifi) it's going to have shorter distance, a microwave nearby pretty much jams anything 2.4Ghz. If you need something that penetrates several walls, and go very long distances, You'll want a 915Mhz range wireless system. Yea, it would sound as perfect as 5.8Ghz, but it'll go though 3-4 walls pretty easily. That said, the next thing is latency this has less than 5ms of latency, my own tests show it at 4ms. So it's good. If you are wondering about the quality, these things feel top notch and they "just work". But yup, it's $200. But in electronics, (40 years IT) i can tell you, you get what you pay for in electronics. So if you want quality, you have to pay for it. If you can afford it, I highly recommend them.

Highly recommended product
Amazing product. - With amazing quality & reliability along with versatility. I’ve used it to chain 2 speakers wirelessly along with coming out my board to a speaker wirelessly & lastly, turning my fav wired mic into a wireless mic for performers to move around on stage!

Quality wireless transmitter
Great wireless transmitter. I’ve used this with different systems in different settings. I’ve used it for recording in the studio. I’ve used it for live shows. It works great for anything. The quality is amazing and I have not experienced any latency.

Be aware of a couple of details.
The U35 is easy to set up and use. So far it has performed flawlessly. There are a couple of minor issues that need to be stated: 1. Some mixers have slightly recessed XLR connectors and this means that the U35 cannot mate fully resulting in a bad connection. The solution is to use of an extender cable or an XLR male to female adapter. 2. I have another XVIVE wireless product which comes with a nice zipped case… not so with the U35 which comes with a small bag; really! My only other concern is with the expected life of the internal lithium cells which like cell phones need to be replaced eventually. However, unlike cell phones the U35 is not user serviceable. For me transmission distance (as with most musicians) is not an issue as stages are always well within the functional range of the product. I shall update my review as I use the U35 over the following year or so.

Range Testing XVive u35 Wireless Microphone System
This is a huge improvement on the old u3 system, huge range increase, 5 hour battery life, can be used for microphones or wireless audio, scannable channels, and 5.8ghz connection. the video goes over it all, but its a huge improvement and great bang for your buck for wireless sound. I did a review on my YouTube channel you should check out complete with range test: “ Wireless Microphone System RANGE TEST: Finding the BEST with XVive u35”

Works great
I've only used this in my home but they work great and the battery seems to go a long while before needed to be charged. No interference or drop-outs in my case.
