**Q: what's the difference with this model and the R-12sw reference powered?**
A: The R-12SW is no longer in production and the R-120SW is the current production model in that series. The finish is the major difference as it is the same specification.

**Q: What kind of subwoofer cable does it need? Anything special?**
A: It just needs an RCA Cable. I'm using the Amazon Basics 25ft RCA Subwoofer cable and it is working fine.

**Q: Just purchased from best buy. the sub is black. anyone else have black rather than copper?**
A: Sounds like you may have two different model subwoofers. This R-120SW has a copper colored woofer cone and the rest of the cabinet is black.
