Prego Basil Pesto Sauce, 8 Oz Jar

Very good garlic and basil pesto taste, especially for a premade sauce. It is a rare pesto option that DOES NOT have pine nuts, cashews, or other items dangerous to anyone with a tree not allergy. SCORE! The sauce is versatile, but paired very nicely with tortellini and ravioli.

Nice product to have on hand- ready to use in various pasta, rice, grain, or meat, poultry, or fish dishes. Also enjoyed added some into salad dressings, egg or tuna salads. This is also makes a tasty snack on some nice cheese or garlic toasted bread!..alone or in a grilled cheese or BLT. V.G. flavor to me and reasonably priced. Lasts pretty good in the fridge after opening too.

It by no means tastes fresh. But it tastes way better than dried. See how you like it!

I absolutely LOVE this pesto! I use it with my homemade spaghetti sauce and always get high reviews. As far as the size of the jar, for me ot needs to be a larger size. We eat alot of pasta and a convenient addition to the sauce or just by itself.

Great on sandwich or pita bread to make flatbread pizza. A bit more oily than I am used to.
