I am genuinely surprised. We moved a few months ago and were dismayed (and very confused) to find garden spiders all over the balcony. How they got up almost 30 floors and why they stayed there is beyond me as we have not seen other bugs around. In any case, while I’m personally not a huge fan of spiders, I don’t like the idea of murdering them either — I just don’t want them as roommates, you know? I got this stuff and sprayed down the balcony focusing on the railing corners where we’d seen them living. The spray made the glass panes very streaky, but when I went back out the next day with window cleaner and a squeegee, I didn’t find a single spider, only abandoned webs and a couple small exoskeletons. They’re actually gone! I went back out with a damp shop towel to wipe away the remaining webs. All by myself. (Normally I would’ve shirked this duty onto my partner out of fear that there might still be live ones, but not this time!). Note that it’s important to get rid of the webs, clean out their hiding spots, and destroy their source of food to keep the spideys away more permanently. If they come back, I will probably put the spray on a towel and wipe down the railing with the stuff instead of streaking up the windows again. I guess they really just don’t like the smell. I don’t like the smell of mint much myself, but the spray is fairly mild-smelling and dissipates quickly. Bonus, it won’t hurt our 2 cats like many other pest control substances would.

Works ok. Takes several sprays to be effective, but works well enough. Not as powerful as the more purified stuff, but does the trick in a pinch. Christa

Not in love with the scent. It’s super strong and not something I’d want my house to smell like, but does repel critters at least for a bit. Of course it’s not a one stop shop and you have to reapply, but the smell deters me just as much as the spiders I’m trying to keep away. So not a product I’d probably buy again.

Don't waste your money on this one. Unless you plan on spraying areas a few times a day, I didn't see that it did anything. The smell was pleasant to me, but not to everyone in the household. I thought I would give it a try, I did and would never buy again!

Wow!!! This actually works. At first I was leery about it. I am currently going through an awful break-up, and staying at a house that has been sitting vacant for months. The spider issue here come Spring was outrageous!!! I absolutely hate spiders and I am terrified of them, so it came to the point I was anxious to grab or reach into anything. I searched heavily on Amazon for a good product that was pet safe and not filled with chemicals. I have a 10 year old dog who I love deeply and want him and I to stay healthy. I found this product and read the reviews, and ordered with hope it would actually work with how bad the issue is. I've sprayed around the rooms that had the issue the worst, and I've already noticed an obvious decrease in spider activity. I'd also like to share that even though this product does not state that it directly kills spiders, it definitely does. I've tested it out and ever spider I've sprayed it on has died (it does take awhile and takes a few sprays, but it works). I am very happy with this product and it most certainly deserves it's 5 star review.

I used this product on our boat dock (which has a tendency to accumulate several spider webs) after removing as many webs as possible with web brush. After that I sprayed the areas of the dock where webs accumulate with the repellent. After two to three days later the number of webs around and on our dock were minimal. You're not going to get 100% removal, but it will eliminate 80 - 90% of the spiders in a large open structure like a boat dock.
