This item worked perfectly and helped get me out of a BIG jam I had unwittingly created when I accidentally corrupted my daily driver PC's Master Boot Record. This occurred while I was rolling back some security settings I was testing using Microsoft Restore. The PC had almost 500GB of data in it from five prior PCs that I'd collected over the past 30 years. Everything from my first 386 to my current i5-13600 whiz-bang model, including all the pictures I had ever taken on I don't know how many cameras and cell phones were in that PC. This was real data, too, not a lot of space hogging videos and worthless movies. A bad MBR is not such a problem if you have a full backup to restore it with, but I hadn't yet started a backup regimen on that PC preferring to wait until I had finished loading all my data into it first. But then Murphy's Law hit me hard - that's when the MBR corruption occurred, right after I'd finished the last transfer of all that data. I was left with an unbootable PC full of years worth of data and no way to get to, view or use that data. That's where this SABRENT M.2 SSD Enclosure came in real handy. With a little help from ChatGPT I removed the 2TB M.2 SSD from my PC, put it in the enclosure and plugged it into a USB-C port on my laptop PC, then performed a backup of that SSD into a high-speed 1TB USB stick. I then reinstalled the SSD into my broken PC and downloaded a fresh copy of Windows 11 into it erasing all the data, but also installing into it a fresh bootable copy of Windows. I then restored the data into the PC transferring only the C: drive partition so as to not overwrite the new, good boot partition with the corrupted one from the backup. Then came some fairly complex command prompt tweaks (took me back to my old DOS days!) to get the new boot partition to synch up with the recovered C: drive data. When I was done the system booted up like nothing had happened! Not a single byte of data was lost! The PC was also a lot faster because the fresh copy of Windows had cleaned out my old Registry of all the old broken links and configs it had collected over the years since I'd done my last OS refresh. I have since bought a new 2TB M.2 SSD and put it in the SABRENT enclosure. Together they now makeup my new backup drive and with it I have begun a rigid backup routine to prevent this problem from ever occurring again.

しっかりとした作りです。安心して使えるところが最高です。

Acronisバックアップソフトが使いやすいので他社外付けケースと比較して高額でしたが今後も使用できることを考慮して購入しました。SUBRENTのWebサイト説明を事前に読みましたがAcronisでのクローン作成は簡単でした。また、ケース開けるときとSSDをケースに装着する際に工具が不要で、ツールとして良く出来てると思います。逆に外付けケース目的だけだと不安かも。 使用SSD：KIOXIA EXCERIA PRO NVMe Gen4 2TB 使用PC：ThinkPad X1 Core i7 Win11 （データ量約120GB 処理時間20分程度でした）

ドライバーや工具不要で簡単に NVMe SSDを取り付け・取り外しできます。ケース内にサーマルパッドが付いている他、作りもしっかりしていて重量感もあります。またSABRENTのホームページから SABRENT版の Acronis True Imageを無償で入手できることも購入の決め手となりました。同様のM.2 SSDケースをこれまで (値段優先で) 2つ購入していますが、本製品の作りや Acronis True Image が付いていることを考えると圧倒的にお得な商品だと思いますので、最初からこれを買えば良かったと思いました。

うっかり内蔵用のSSD購入して使えなかったので、こちらの外付け用に入れて使っています。 問題なく使えていて、SSDも無駄にならず活躍してくれているので良かったです
