Small Dog Bark Collar, Training Device for Dogs 5-15 lbs (Black)

This collar worked wonders! My 4 yr old Italian greyHuahua was an incessant, nervous, barker. She barked at any and every thud and noise and I used to wake up early hearing her bark and having to shush her. I live in an old, condo building and have seniors and a few, odd, grumps as neighbors so I knew I needed to get her out of the habit before any complaints were filed. Used many bark collars in the past with my other dogs but they never worked but I was desperate and liked the AI feature to this one and that it was waterproof since she did like to jump in the small paddle pool at the dog park. Checking the dimensions, this XS collar also fit my dog’s unusually small (Italian greyhound) neck measurement so I tried it. It is so lightweight that it didn’t bother my dog and she wasn’t trying to take it off. After about a week of wearing it the barking stopped. I have since kept the collar off and my dog has actually learned not to be triggered by the smallest sound. She still barks but somehow not at every single sound or even at fireworks! I no longer have to wake up to endless, maniacal, barking in the early hours.

Bought this for a Yorkie who likes to freak out and bark at nothing around 3-4am. I put this collar on him, set it to vibrate and beep, and waited for the action. Sure enough - he barked, it vibrated and beeped, he tucked his tail, and shot back up onto the bed like he just watched the Exorcist for the first time. Never barked again that night and all I had to do after that was just show him the collar and he behaved like a little furry gentleman. Highly recommended.

Works well on a very vocal small male Maltese. Doesn't seem to change him permanently though. He only keeps the barking at bay if he has this on.

I’m not blaming the seller for this not working out for us. We have a dog that barked her way through all the settings and she just got used to each setting. It apparently didn’t work for our rapper! My 3 stars were given because I emailed the seller for advice or to see if they had suggestions for a different collar and they never replied.

This doesn’t work at all, my dog was freaking out and barked louder. Size fits well but a bit bulky for a 6lb dog, shock levels didn’t make a difference in terms of making him bark less. Charging wire doesn’t hold it in place like I had to place it on a flat surface, the magnet doesn’t hold it in place. You’ll know if you end up getting it. Anyhow, I didn’t want to scare my fur baby so I will try another option.

This collar works well for dogs that are more sensitive. I have two schnauzers, a 14 month old male, and a 8 month old female. My female is much more vocal than the male and her bark is more shrill, so I bought this to curb her barking somewhat. It worked in certain circumstances, but often it would go off when she growled, and not when she actually barked. A lot of times even at the highest intensity, she would keep barking and ignore the vibration. It also goes off when my male schnauzer barked and I didn't like that. I decided to get a different collar and use this one for the male, who is more sensitive and doesn't like getting in trouble. It helps him not to bark, and then he doesn't set my female schnauzers collar off.

I usually do not write reviews. However, this is a life changing device. My 10 year old Shih Tzu has barked at other dogs his entire life, even with training etc. I tried other bark collars and no others have worked. I got this after I read all the reviews, which now I believe 100 percent. We put it on him and it was shocking his reaction. He was busy trying to look all over to see where this sound came from. The next time he barked was the last time he barked. Now I just put it next to him, if he raises up to even start to bark I remind him about the bark collar and he immediately settles in and lets the dogs walk by the window. Truly a miracle collar. Do not hesitate, you will be shocked as I was how well it works.

Purchased for my 5 pound Yorkie. Instructions were simple, collar fit perfectly, but it was overall ineffective. The vibration did absolutely nothing and was actually way louder than his actual barking at times. So now in the middle of the night, all I hear is buzzing and barking, buzzing and barking.
