I have no idea why this is getting such bad reviews. I have a hairy Fell cross cob and I got this because she sheds like crazy this time of year. I have used various other combs, brushes and shedding tools but this is excellent in comparison. It took me several minutes to do her all over, but when I was done, she looked soft and shiny, and the whole floor beneath us was covered in her hair, it was so exciting. I wish I took a photo. She also loved it VERY much. I got the largest one which is great all over the main body, but I am about to order the medium one to do face and legs as the big one is slightly too big for that and you can't be very precise. Well worth the money & the results are amazing. Yes it gets dirty quickly, but use your noggin and paint it with something that you can wipe clean, if you are bothered by it getting dirtyt. Can't recommend this enough. Also, others on the yard used it and fell in love.

Works well to remove loose hair - great in spring shedding season

I'm using this tool for my horses and it works incredibly. It doesn't just get shedding hair off. It gets the dirt off as well. I use a curriculum afterwards and realized I didn't need to, I just brushed them. The medium might work better for small backed horses
