We’ve been slowly transitioning away from plastic dishes for our kids, and these stainless‑steel suction plates have been a really solid upgrade. They feel durable, clean easily, and give me a lot more peace of mind than the colourful plastic plates we used to rely on. The suction base is surprisingly strong + strong enough that my toddler actually gave up trying to fling the plate across the room, which honestly feels like a personal victory. The stainless steel itself is lightweight but sturdy, and it doesn’t hold onto stains or smells (looking at you, tomato sauce). They feel safe, sturdy, and built to last through the toddler years which is more than I can say for most things in my kitchen.

Surely you’d rather be able to toss your toddlers dishes in the dishwasher without having to boil or soak the silicone ones monthly for stink and taste issues! This is stainless steel with a suction, stay in place outer wrap that just needs wiped off if messy.

These stainless steel suction plates make mealtime easier. The suction grabs onto our high chair tray and the kitchen table and actually stays put. There is a little tab so adults can lift it when dinner is done, but our toddler cannot peel it up mid bite. The 9 inch size gives plenty of room, and the divided sections are great for portions and picky eaters. Food does not stain the steel, it does not hold smells, and it cools quickly enough that we do not worry about hot spots. Cleanup is a breeze since it rinses clean and goes right in the dishwasher. The plate feels solid without being heavy, and it has held up to daily drops and bumps. We use it at home and toss it in the bag for visits with grandparents. As with any stainless steel, it is not for the microwave, but that is the only limitation. For less mess and happier meals, this set delivers.
