Sunscreen applicator is the best invention ever! So easy to put whatever sunscreen you want in it and put it on you with rubbing it in all at the same time! Highly recommend!

For the first two uses I liked the product but it wasn't great. I did notice that it was hard to get the sunscreen out of the applicator. I do use mineral sunscreen, so it is thicker. But after just a few uses the foam tore and it is no longer working. Sadly I have reached out to the company to see what I could've done differently but have heard no reply.

So many expectations, and what a disappointing little gadget. I filled it up with sunscreen, put it away and a few days later try to use it and it just exploded, the sponge came off and that was it. I guess it’s meant for liquidy sunscreen and not thick sunscreen, so that’s something to keep in mind before you buy it. It was a waste of money in my opinion. Gave it a 2 star because it looks cute, but it doesn’t work.

Neat concept but poor longevity. Started using one of these this summer for our toddlers. After a few months of minimal use, the applicator came undone while attempting to apply sunscreen. This caused sunscreen to explode everywhere, due to the applicator‘s glue coming undone from the plastic housing. During normal application, air pockets would build when applying the sunscreen and small burst of sunscreen would come come out of the applicator, causing a mess and sometimes getting into sensitive parts of the child’s face. Be sure to use a sunscreen that is not overly thick as it will get clogged easily or be hard to apply.

Careful not to fill it with thick sunscreen; you'll squeeze too hard, making the applicator expand and eventually rupture (see photo after 3 months; I'll glue it back with silicone). It's hard to know when you're out of sunscreen because the it coats the inside walls of the container. If you rub it "deep" into your skin, I doubt much sunscreen is being applied. But I'll keep it because it makes it easy to apply sunscreen that smells nice (as opposed to stick-type that don't coat enough and smell lousy). Great for kids and it makes funny fart noises.

Such a neat and useful product. I have 5 littles and applying sunscreen is a daunting task with kiddos who are ready to go back to water play. This gadget makes it easy! Boon is one of my favorite kids brands as everything we have used from them is top notch and super functional

Was SO excited about this product and loved it the first couple uses. Then it became clogged after a week of not being used and started shooting sunscreen out the sides instead of the top. I tried to remedy that problem only to then have the whole top sponge pop off ruining the item. Hopefully they can find a way to improve this product, because the initial concept was great. But for the price I paid I’m very disappointed.

YES! I had been considering another brand (solar buddies) but found these and they seemed a better bargain and a trusted brand so I decided to get them and I will be using them every summer. I use it on myself even!! No more icky sunscreen residue on your hands. You don’t have to carry the whole bottle around. The lotion is more effective than the spray (and cheaper) so it’s a a win win all around! Happy mama here!
